LOCTITE® 243 is effective on all types of metal threaded fasteners.  Prevents loosening on vibrating parts such as pumps, motor mounting bolts, gear boxes or presses.  Recommended for use where disassembly with hand tools is required for servicing and where parts are contaminated with oil.

Qualities and Characteristics

• Oil Tolerant - Proven to tolerate minor contamination by industrial oils, e.g. motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids
• Prevents loosening on vibrating assemblies, e.g. pumps, gear boxes or presses
• Works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminium, plated surfaces)
• Standard disassembly with hand tools
